After Gladys left for the UK she came back for a visit to her friends here in Zimbabwe on various days at the end of April.
She managed to see them or even go to Kennel Club to see then there and watch them in their training classes. Some did not know she was there and you can see their or Gladys expression as a wonderful surprise.

Working Breeds Club of Mashonaland Championship shows 16 & 17 April 2-16
The Working Breeds Club of Mashonaland held its Championship shows over the weekend of 16 & 17 April.
As usual at the time of the year the sun was shining and the weather was not too hot anymore.
The breed show was held on the Saturday morning with 3 Border collies, 2 Dobermann dogs, 2 German Shepherds and 2 Welsh Corgies ending with one Shelty.
The judge was Mr B.W. Blades from South Africa, who is a specialist Dobermann judge as well as all the other dogs in the breed, he will be judging Obedience as well as Dog Jumping, so an unusual versatile Judge to have for this weekend.
I was too late to take the Border collies. Three were entered:
Ch.Br & Ch. DJ ELFA JED
CHIP
AITCHIE TARA

Two German Shepherds were entered and Rio came first in the line up.

Zimbabwe Kennel Club Agility Championship
The Zimbabwe Kennel Club held their Non-Contact Agility and Agility Contact Championship Shows on Sunday 27 March at the Kennel Club of Harare grounds. The Judge was Mrs. Arlett Reed from S Africa.
It was a bright sunny day and all the dogs performed well. The first show of the morning had only one qualifying dog of all 14 competing. Awesome to see Peter Pozzo and Smudge doing it all without making a mistake.
Unfortunately I do not have all the dogs and owners names and my apologies for that. Look forward to get a feed back on them.
News from Steph
A shame that Stephany and Dorothy left to go back to the UK,
NEWS DIRECT FORM STEPH:
We all set off in the cab of this van with our cases and Mitts’s travel box in the back and the four of us (Mitts, Dorothy, Steph and our very kind and efficient host, Bryn) for our first base. I travelled with my feet against the windscreen and we had a delightful stop half way to relieve the cramp! All safe and sound and VERY happy to be together.
We set off for Lincolnshire tomorrow in convoy: Dorothy and Steph with Mitts in the car acquired today and Bryn in the van with Mitsi’s Mansion, the eight (+) suitcases and sundry other bulky acquisitions with a picnic lunch and great optimism.
Love to all
Steph
