Dates for December 2013:

SUNDAY 1 DECEMBER 2013

Please note that there will be no obedience training on Sunday 1 December 2013 EXCEPT for Puppy / Beginners Class which will be taken by Dave Lamb at 9am at the Kennel Club of Harare.

For all those who have previously booked and paid, the KCH Annual Christmas luncheon will be this Sunday 1 December at 12.30pm at the Restaurant, Alo Alo.

SUNDAY 8 DECEMBER 2013

There will be the normal obedience training classes at 9am for all at the Kennel Club of Harare.

SUNDAY 15 DECEMBER 2013

There will be no training on this day…. This is the Dogs Christmas Party! Yes, they can bring their handler! For those of you who haven’t been before, there will be a fancy dress..(anything goes) plus games for dogs and handlers – more about this later.

SUNDAY 22 DECEMBER 2013 (Public Holiday – Unity Day)

No training – Club closed.

SUNDAY 29 DECEMBER 2013

No training – Club closed.

SUNDAY 5 JANUARY 2014

There will be the normal obedience training classes at 9am for all.

Dear KCH Members

Gordon Grierson has kindly agreed to start Working Trials training on Saturday mornings at 9am.  The training will be at the GSD Club apart from the last Saturday of the month, when Gordon will train  Agility at the Kennel Club of Harare.

Please could anyone interested in doing the Working Trials contact Geraldine (contact details below) so that we can establish numbers??

HOWEVER, Gordon says that as he has committed himself to training every Saturday, he expects handlers to be as committed as he is.  He is looking for a solid group of people who are prepared to train EVERY Saturday and not just when it suits them.  Obviously, from time to time, one wouldn’t be able to attend training (good reason needed!) and then he must be informed.

The first training session will be this Saturday, 22 June, at the GSD club.

Pam Brennan

What a lucky Kennel Club to have Pam Brennan taking the top class training for them to enter the obedience shows. Pam is not one who likes her picture taken and usually hides, but this one is a very good one taken by Linda Lamb.
