Database of Zimbabwe Dogs

Over the past two years I have collated names and information on over 300 Zimbabwe Registered German Shepherd dogs from show catalogs.  I have stored this information in a database with as many litter mates as possible up to the fourth generation. In addition, I have recorded over 300 Zimbabwe registered GSD litters (born since the start of Zimbabwe Kennel Club) using the ZKC Bulletin as a source.

Anyone who would like to know more about their registered dog, the pedigree, registration number, birthdate, are welcome to write in and I will do the research to give the answer - provided that the dog was born in Zimbabwe after 1986 since I have no information available from before this date.

I am able to provide any names on German and Netherlands lines. In addition, Information on all new German ratings of the hip scores is available for any dog registered with the German SV.

My further plans are to record the registered litters for the other breed groups since the beginning of ZKC. However, as the above took me more than two years, this plan might take a little time.

How to get the free Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader.

Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF) is a document format that allows people to create, exchange and read documents using their own computer without having to worry about the type of computer (Macintosh, PC...) or word processor that they or anyone else is using.

This web site contains a number of documents in PDF format that can be read by anyone with an Adobe Acrobat Reader.  Many computers come with an Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader already installed.  If you were not able to download and view the PDF documents on this site, you probably do not have a compatible PDF reader.

The most recent Adobe Acrobat PDF readers for many different types of computers are available free of charge from Adobe Systems. Click on the icon below to download the latest reader.  The PC version of the Reader is between 5 and 6Mb while the Mac version is between 6 and 7 Mb.

How to get the free QuickTime player.

QuickTime can be used to view ordinary movies on the web, but it is also able to play "virtual reality movies". These are movies that are created from panoramic pictures and are presented in a way so that the user perceives herself to be in the middle of the scene. The user can then navigate her way around this  "virtual world" buy dragging the mouse pointer over the picture.

If you do not have a QuickTime player and plugin, you can download one free of charge from Apple by clicking on the icon below.
